Mount Timpanogos via Aspen Grove

  • Distance: 14.5 miles roundtrip

    Elevation: 4,600 ft gain

    Time: 6-8 hours

  • Hike-able usually from June-September this is my FAVORITE trail in the world! It’s abot endurance, you can take all day if you want; just stay hydrated and fueled. You will pass multiple waterfalls, streams, Emerald Lake, wildflowers, spectacular views all over the place. If you’re lucky you’ll see mountain goats, too! This route is steep with many switchbacks but there is a lot of water along the way.

Box Elder Peak

  • Distance: 4 miles roundtrip

    Elevation: 1,615 ft gain

    Time: 3-4 hours

  • This trail tends to feel steep-the incline will give you a great workout. The beginning is exposed but you’ll have a lo of shade once you enter the canyon forest. This one is great in ALL SEASONS! Be sure to make a sharp left downward once you get to the tril split signage.

Silver Lake/Silver Glance Lake

    Time: 4-5 hours

  • This trail is 85% exposed and can get VERY hot, but the views and pristine lake is beautiful. So many wildflowers in July. The trail is narrow and is sometimes shared by horses. If you continue up to Silver Glance Lake the trail gets STEEP but seeing Silver Lake from above is amazing!
