“Your mountain is waiting... so get on your way!”

OFF TO GREAT PLACES

my trail recommendations in each region of UT

  • Cache County

I’ve only ventured into Cache County once (way up Northern Utah) but the weekend I went I was impressed by how beautiful it was. Lakes, caves, peaks, and many great camping sites.

  • A mountainous landscape with grassy foreground and distant mountain ranges under a cloudy sky.

    Davis County

My home county! While I don’t think Davis County has the best hiking trail along the Wasatch, there are a few gems worth visiting. At least 2 amazing waterfalls, some great biking & ATV trails, and the fall colors are pretty outstanding.

  • A mountain with a rugged, sharp peak reflecting in a calm lake surrounded by pine trees and snow patches under a bright blue sky with wispy clouds.

    Salt Lake County

Salt Lake is pretty unbeatable. There are so many canyons to explore: Emigration, Millcreek, Big Cottonwood, Little Cottonwood. Countless trails and I have yet to visit them all!

  • Summit County

    Home to the magical Uintas!

  • A rugged dirt trail in a canyon with colorful fall foliage, tall rocky cliffs, and a bright blue sky with wispy clouds.

    Utah County

One of the best places to hike in Utah for luh forest, beautiful peaks, rivers, lakes, and all levels of trails. One of my all-time favorite mountains live here-check it out!

  • A narrow dirt trail running along the crest of a green mountain ridge with snow patches, leading towards distant snow-capped mountains under a partly cloudy blue sky.

    Weber County

It wasn’t until 2023 that I really took advantage of how close I live to Ogden! Their trail system is very well maintained, the beauty is astounding, and there is a wide range of trail distance/vert/difficulty to explore.
